Biography

Born to a christian family of African Church background in Ita Oshin, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Sunday Adeola Ogunyemi, fondly referred to as "MR MELODY" by his fans, started his musical career way back from the church as from his childhood and rose to become the youngest choir master ever produced in the church.

A staunch member of the cultural group of his secondary school, St. Peters College, Olomore, Abeokuta, Sunny's love for music became stronger when he gained admission into Ogun State University in 1994, he joined the Kegites club and was the head of "songitto(s)" for two years.

He simultaneously joined the school band (Ogun State University melody band) known as "Osu Melody" and

became the Lead vocalist for the band in 1996 and there emerged the first ever produced album for the great University titled "the great achievement" recorded and launched in 1998 under Professor O.Y Oyeneye, the Vice Chancellor.
